Cross-government functions
This section provides information, resources and guidance on our cross-government functions of dispute resolution, regulatory stewardship, government procurement and property and language assistance services.
The Government Centre for Dispute Resolution (GCDR) provides leadership and stewardship to support a systems-based, best practice approach to dispute resolution in New Zealand.
The Government Regulatory Practice Initiative (G-REG) is a network of central and local government regulatory agencies established to lead and contribute to regulatory practice initiatives. It works on actions that improve leadership, culture, regulatory practice and workforce capability in regulatory organisations and systems.
This section explains our stewardship role across regulatory systems, including the main elements of our approach and how we assess regulatory systems.
New Zealand Government Procurement and Property helps government agencies deliver better public services for better value.
The Government facilitates access to language assistance services, such as interpreting and translation services, to help clients with limited English access public services and information.
