MBIE consulted an industry on a draft of refreshed Terms of Reference for the Group.
The current Terms of Reference (TOR) focuses on the 1 year long establishment. The proposal to update the current TOR is to ensure the Group's ongoing role and objectives following the establishment phase. It is to allow for the next stage of the programme delivery including implementation of its recommendations, and allocation of up to $5 million International Visitor and Conservation Levy funding over the next 3 to 5 years. The revised TOR also extends the tenure of its membership enabling them to deliver the identified work programme.
