Summary
Through world-leading science, the High-Value Nutrition National Science Challenge will enable the transformation of New Zealand’s food and beverage industry to become an exporter of high-value foods with scientifically proven health benefits.
Informed by insights into the needs of consumers in Asia and globally, and identified opportunities where investment in food science can have significant economic impact, the Challenge will conduct research into metabolic health, digestive health, enhanced immunity, and infant complementary feeding.
