Next steps to develop the Briefing
Following our consideration of the feedback on this consultation, MBIE and MFAT Chief Executives will confirm the subject of the Briefing, and the project team will progress the work to develop the Briefing.

This will take place during the first half of 2025 and involve further engagement and analysis, and a second period of public consultation on a draft Briefing.
We will invite all individuals and organisations responding to the first consultation to contribute to the second public consultation on a draft Briefing. If you have further information you want to share with us ahead of this, please let us know.
