The Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment and Ministry of Justice are seeking submissions on proposed adjustments to Motor Vehicle Traders Register fees and the Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal levy.
The feedback from this consultation will be used to advise the Government about changes to fees and the levy that should be made under the Motor Vehicle Sales Act 2003. Any changes are expected to take effect from 1 August 2022.
This discussion document seeks your feedback on options for changes to the MVTR fees and the Tribunal levy. In particular, we’re keen to hear from you about the impact of the changes on your business and your preferred options for adjustments.
