White Paper
On 6 December 2022, MBIE released the Te Ara Paerangi Future Pathways White Paper. The white paper included key policy directions and actions for the Te Ara Paerangi programme. These are no longer proceeding.
Green Paper and consultation
The Green Paper was the first step in Te Ara Paerangi - Future Pathways programme. It signalled the start of the multi-year reform process to build Aotearoa New Zealand a future-focused research, science, and innovation system.
